Due to a recent accident at our offices involving Daisy the elephant (mascot of the TeleCrumb Marketing Department) and the North Lodge Security Lodge, we have a vacancy for four security guards.

Security Guard main duties require the patrolling of the site, buildings and surrounding land. Patrolling is undertaken 24 hours a day and therefore a shift system is employed of 24 hour working by all guards. Additional duties include fire safety testing, ushering during large meetings, serving tea and coffee, sweeping floors, running the IT computer centre and working in rota at the customer care centre.

Periodically there is a requirement for guards to attend off-site events in other premises on the business park. The successful candidates will be fully versed in stealth work, breaking and entering (for avoidance purposes) and explosives.

One post carries the responsibility of care for the two guard dogs (one Beagle and a Jack Russel) as well as the security hamsters employed in the perminiter intruder detectors.

Qualifications

• At least one year's experience in an I.T. department or Finance Section.
• Access to essential tools of the trade: torch, kettle, Alsation, feather duster and salad fork.
• Previous security experience desirable.
• Access to firearms and explosives would be a definate advantage.
